Lavandula x intermedia 'Exceptional'

Lavender is a heat tolerant perennial that produces fragrant flowers in midsummer. This mounding plant is great for the front of a border in a sunny garden bed in well draining soil. Lavenders in this collection require vernalization to flower, which means they need to experience winter to initiate flowering. Plants planted this year will flower next summer. 

Lavender Exceptional is a sport of Phenomenal, and retains many of its lovely qualities of winter hardiness and heat and humidity tolerance. Exceptional offers crisp white flowers instead of purple. It reaches 32" tall by 32" wide. Hardy in Zones 5-9.
