Clematis hybrid 'Kokonoe'

A purple Clematis with gorgeous texture maturing to 7 ft tall. Plant in Full Sun to Part Shade. Hardy only in Zones 7-9, so cold climate growers take note. The stems can be buried an additional 6 inches once they turn woody in order to increase hardiness. Additionally, the plants can be grown in containers and wintered over in a frost free place.
